Take Your Oxygen First

Before taking off on a plane, the crew will explain the procedures in case of an emergency. They remind us to 'take the oxygen first' before giving it to a loved one. Leeza Gibbons, Dr. Rosemary Laird and Dr. Jamie Huysman have used that important message to write a book for all those caregivers who are taking care of a loved one with a memory disorder.

" Tea with Dr. Rosemary Laird" is being presented by the Alzheimer & Parkinson Association on Thursday, November 19 at the Oak Harbor Clubhouse from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Reservations are required. Tickets to the Teaare $25.00 which includes a signed book.

Dr. Richard Della Penna, Board Member of the Alzheimer's Association and Director of Kaiser Permanente Aging Network reviews this books" ....is an exceptionally useful guide for caregivers and families of people with Alzheimer's diease and other types of memory loss.
