Final Seminar Speaks to
"Transition from Elementary Shool to High School to the Future"
Sun Up Center for the Developmentally Disabled launched a series of workshops last spring created for parents of children of all ages that have Developmental Disabilities which may include Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, or Intellectual Disabilities. The workshops have been offered free and have been designed to help parents make the right decisions concerning their child's future.
The final workshop of the series, entitled "Transition from elementary school to high school to the future
" will be held on Tuesday, November 27 at 7 p.m. Speakers includeDiane Dees
, Mike Ferrentino Indian River county Board of Education ESE program, Dr. Tom Gollery Wabasso School Principal & from Florida Atlantic University Kyle Bennet, Transition Adult Services. The session is held at the Sun Up Center located on 5 th Street S.W. between 20 th Avenue and 27 th Avenue in Vero Beach. It is free, but reservations are requested. Refreshment will be available.
