Attention all Mothers Of Preschoolers (MOPS)! MOPS meets on the 2 nd and 4 th Tuesdays, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from September through May at Trinity Church, located at 2365 Pine Avenue in Vero Beach. All mothers of preschoolers are welcome to attend.
MOPS International is a non-denominational Christian organization that provides a caring, accepting environment where today's busy moms can share their parenting experiences. The organization began in 1973 in a church near Denver, Colorado. Today there are approximately 3,400 groups that meet worldwide.
What do you do at a MOPS meeting? It is so much more than a social gathering. A typical meeting consists of the moms bringing their children, if they choose, so they can attend a parallel program called MOPPETS. The mothers then meet to share food and discussion on topics such as raising children, seatbelt awareness, CPR, health and fitness, floral arranging, and marriage tips. Guest speakers come and share with the mothers. Occasionally the group will venture into crafts or hands-on activities such as cooking and baking. A vital part of MOPS is the spiritual guidance from a MOPS mentor. Members include some women who are one step "further in life" spiritually and are mothers of older children. As a mentor, she is there to give the moms encouragement, prayerful guidance, and support.

Trinity Episcopal Church began as a mission of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Fort Pierce. By following His Word and Spirit while honoring the traditions of Anglican Christianity, Trinity members vow to worship the Lord, love one another, and serve God and His people thereby leading others into fellowship with Jesus Christ and His Church by nurturing their spiritual growth.
Trinity's first service was held October 24, 1926 at the Women's Club Building in Vero Beach. Today, Trinity is a 1,200 member Church that underwent a multi-million dollar building project in 2005 resulting in a larger church, new music facilities, new youth facilities, and an enlarged memorial garden and columbarium.
