Vicki Soule' Named Volunteer of the Year

Vicki Soule', Chief Operating Officer for Treasure Coast Community Health (TCCH), has been recognized as "Volunteer of the Year" by the American Cancer Society/East Central Coastal Unit.

Ms Soule' has accumulated a 20 year history in Indian River County, working for several years with Indian River Medical Center and most currently with TCCH. In 2006, Ms. Soule' was the Director of Cancer Care for the Florida Hospital Memorial System, Chairperson for American Cancer Society's (ASC) Relay For Life (RFL) in 2006 and 2007 and a leader on the ACS Operating Board/East Coast Central Unit. Due to her success in surpassing goals established for each Relay For Life, Ms. Soule' was nominated to be a voluntary member of the Florida Division of the Relay For Life Operating Committee in 2008-2009.

Beverly McMurtry Grissom, EdD, Chair of the East Central Coastal Unit remarked about Ms. Soule'. "The untold hours of hard work Vicki donated to the Ormond Relay has resulted in a lasting legacy for this unit and the cause. Vicki's Board service served to enhance the board members' understanding of Relay and their interest in participating. Her tireless dedication, motivation and inspiration have set the standards for others to emulate."

Now back in Indian River County, Ms Soule' is responsible for operations of TCCH in both the Fellsmere and Vero Beach locations. The employees of TCCH have been strong advocates, award winners and volunteers for the Indian River County Relay for Life and Ms. Soule' will be actively involved with the TCCH team in the future.

"I will continue to be a warrior for the cure and the support of the American Cancer Society activities and mission" claims Ms. Soule'.
