Beginning Agility Dog and owner learn how to complete a canine-friendly obstacle course together. Meant for novices, this class introduces basic agility skills and familiarizes everyone with items encountered on the course such as hoops, see-saws and tunnels. To participate, dogs must be at least one year old, be able to come when called in the presence of other dogs who are off-lead, perform a reliable "sit" and "down" and walk on a loose lead without pulling. Owners must provide proof of current vaccinations and feel comfortable with moving at a brisk pace. This four week session will be held on Mondays at 6:30 p.m., beginning on Monday, September 10, 2007. The cost of this course is $40.00.

Intermediate Agility This class provides more advanced training related to agility course configuration and dog handling for fun or competition. Owners must show proof of current vaccinations and feel comfortable moving at a brisk pace. Intermediate Agility is a four week session held on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, September 11, 2007. The cost of this course is $40.00.

Rally Obedience is another method of teaching owners how to effectively communicate commands to their dogs for fun or competition. In Rally Obedience, "stations" with written instructions are utilized to help dog owners teach their dog basic commands. Stations may have instructions such as go fast or slow, halt (dog must sit at heel), to make turns and circles, reverse direction, do a sit-stay-recall, or other basic obedience exercises. Dog owners must show proof of current vaccinations. Rally obedience is a four week program held on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, September 11, 2007. The cost of this course is $40.00
