Alice is a Guardian Angel. You just can't see her wings.

When she and her littermates arrived at our facility, eight week old Alice immediately assumed the role of "guardian." Even though she was the smallest, she would position herself in front of her brother and two sisters, and look as scary as possible, anytime their human caregivers came near.

One by one, her siblings, who were much more receptive to people, were adopted, leaving Alice all alone. Now that she feels that her "job" is done, this four month old, solid black beauty, has begun to enjoy being picked up, held, and petted. She is wonderful with other kitties, especially younger ones who need a guardian to look after them.

Alice would do best in a calm home with adults older children who will be patient with her and help our little "guardian angel" become the loving companion that she can be.
