My name is Melanie, and, until recently, I never knew what "Moving Day" meant. Two weeks ago, however, I found out that it meant something very bad for me.

Moving Day meant that I suddenly lost the home and family I loved. Moving Day meant that instead of a cozy lap to sit on, I now live in a cage surrounded by strange cats and humans.

I am a six year old silver Persian girl, who hopes my next "Moving Day" will take me to a new home with a new family to love.
