Highwaymen Donate Paintings for Silent Auction Fundraiser
The Treasure Coast's Premier Second Generation Highwaymen Art Show and Sale will be an exciting new feature of the 2008 Hibiscus Festival on April 19 th in historic downtown Vero Beach. Twenty first and second generation Highwaymen Artists will display and sell their exceptional work on the south lawn of the Heritage Center. Several artists will give live demonstrations from 10 a.m. to noon and some paintings will be sold during the Silent Auction. You won't want to miss this rare opportunity to watch as Highwaymen Artists create beautiful new works of art. This will be the final Highwaymen showing of the 2008 season.
Second generation Highwayman artist Kelvin Hair, son of Alfred Hair, has painted his rendition of a Hibiscus flower. It is being used as the front cover photo of the Hibiscus Festival insert to be published in the Press Journal on April 17 and will be featured during the Silent Auction. It is valued at $800.
