Activity, activity, activity!!!!! My, my, my, peer at all the activity going on in my front yard. Just take a look.
I went out to take a picture of my orange yellow rose and when I snapped the shutter a honey bee flew right in front of my camera. I quickly put the camera setting on the motion setting so I could get a good picture of this honey bee in flight.
So far this is the best photo I've ever taken of a bee in motion.
Another day there were different kinds of bees flying from one flower to the next. I don't know all the types of bees they were but they were intriguing. They didn't seem to mind me and my camera and they didn't bother with each other. They just went about their business. I tried to get as many as I could on camera.
One particular bumble bee was so lazy instead of flying to the next flower it stretched to it. This Bumble Bee was interesting to watch, and quite funny.
There were little bees with pollen thickly covering their back legs. There was amid all the flowers and bees a moth I believe. It could be a butterfly, but it looks like a moth. I will have to find time from my camera trigger finger to find out exactly what this cute little winged creature is.
Then on still another interesting day for little creatures, I decided to take some photos of lizards. You can always see a lizard in my yard. They are everywhere and I welcome them, that is as long as they don't get too BIG and decide I'm lunch.Ha!
One lizard was taking a drink of water from the morning dew on my lounge chair, and another was displaying his red color neck.
One night my son spotted two lizards sleeping in my rose bush. My son says he sees them sleeping there all the time,he then pointed out another lizard that sleeps on yet another rose bush.
Once I caught a lizard running from me with his hind legs in the air. It's FUNNY and FUN watching God's small creatures!!
There is always so much activity in my yard with different kinds of small creatures. Thank you for stopping by and letting me share.
