Second Time Around
Contributed by: Malcolm Rice on 7/1/2006

Local author Malcolm B. Rice has just published his political mystery novel, "Second Time Around." Using the author signature line M.B. Rice (it's easier for readers to remember this name) he coordinated with the Vero Beach publishing firm Crosam Press to put this work into print. "Second Time Around" tells the story of a political novice who finds himself out of his league dealing with the professionals. He receives financial support in exchange for favors. The situation gets out of control and people get hurt. The main character realizes too late his mistakes. He must fight back and begin a new way of life in the "Second Time Around."
It's ironic that this manuscript was completed over twenty (20) years ago. Economics and business interests delayed publishing until now. But the same political climate was depicted in this fictional novel years ago still can unfortunately be found alive and well in Washington today.
I have resided in Martin and Indian River Counties these past 20 years. My business commitments included producing management training manuals and magazine articles. During this time I was actively involved in many local political campaigns.
Those interested in obtaining a copy of this book can order using the Crosam Press website: www.crosampress.com or www.feathersandfurs.com.
