Local businesses and organizations encouraged to educate seniors on valuable services available in Vero Beach

VERO BEACH, FL (August 13, 2008) - Indian River Mall offers local businesses and organizations the last opportunity to get involved in the Senior Health & Wellness Expo sponsored by Ocean 97.1, The Press Journal and Ameri-Life on Wed., Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This community event will expose seniors to valuable products and resources designed to cater to their needs and foster a healthy, active lifestyle.

"Vero Beach is home to a vibrant and very active senior community," said Ursula Gunter, director of mall marketing, Indian River Mall. "This is a great opportunity for seniors to discover the many services available to them, and enjoy complimentary health screenings, demonstrations, lectures and more."

Attendees will receive free colorectal screening kits, sunscreen samples and blood pressure testing compliments of the Indian River Medical Center. Plus, Sebastian River Medical Center will offer free Pulse Oximetry, while East Coast Clinical will be onsite providing men and women with CBC, comprehensive metabolic profiles, lipid and PSA treatments for $25 - $35.
