"Billary" and the "Stars and Bars"
Contributed by: John Kirgan on 2/23/2007

Whoa "Bilary"!!! Back off madam. You say that South Carolina should remove the Confederate Flag from it's Statehouse grounds because the nation should unite under one banner while at war. Here's her qoute as published by the Press Journal: "I think about how many South Carolinians have served in our military and who are serving today under our flag and I believe that we should have one flag that we pay honor to, as I know that most people in South Carolina do every single day." She doesn't know that. She's just looking for votes from a predominately Republican state. She doesn't know what the people do every day. She continues, " I personally would like to see it removed from the Statehouse grounds". Joe "wrong-way" Biden and Chris "I missed the point" Dodd, agree with "her slickness". These three dunderheads don't even live there. They should channel their energies into the over-seeing of their own states. These three seek the office of Presidency? Oh, my God!!
The banner or flag, as it should be rightfully called, is boycotted by the NAACP. Who? The NAACP, which didn't even exist at the time of the Civil War. "Mrs. Bill", I know you and "Mr. Bill" never served in the military and I'm guessing Joe and Chris didn't either. So "get back in the box" and mind your business and manners. No one cares about your thoughts on the "Stars and Bars". You haven't earned the right to opine on war. Although you do have the right of free speech, and I respect that right, I disagree with your assessment vehemently.
The "Stars and Bars" or the Confederate Flag is part of our culture, history, and heritage. Only the NAACP, NAACP sympathizers, and members of the NAACP have a problem with it.Over 300,000 southern military men, known as "Rebels", fought, died, or were maimed or wounded in defense of their right to sesede from the new union and fly their own flag. Although the Constitution guaranteed the right to sesede, Lincoln said, I personally am not going to let you do it and started the Civil War. Thank "Honest Abe" for that part of our history. Who? "Honest Abe". Yea, right. What politician is honest?
Only the above mentioned group of people see the Confederate Flag as a racist symbol. Just because a group and their following believe the flag is a racist symbol doesn't make it so. That is just that groups opinion. And you know what is said about opinions. I contend that all opinions aren't truths. Just because the KKK adopted the flag as their symbol of racist beliefs doesn't mean that it is a racists symbol to everyone else. To me it is a symbol of theCivil War and should be honored as such. Because of these dullards the Blue/Gray College All-star game was cancelled. There is the North/South College Football Game. Should we ban these games because they signify our history of the Civil War? I think not. Remember, People, racism is a man-made issue brought on my the melanic leaders. Racism wasn't even a word during the Civil War days. It's a modern day term the melanic leaders came up with.
One last thought. I believe The NAACP is a highly racist organization. It's the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. The "C" could also mean "caucasian", couldn't it? But, alas, if a group of caucasian people initiated an organization called The National Association of the Advancement of Caucasian People. The NAACP would call it a racist organization. Here's an undeniable fact. Shouldn't there be an organization with the initials NAAAP? That's N, triple A, P? The National Association for the Advancement of All People? You tell me!
Have a good many, not just one, and fly what ever flag you want to as high as you want to. It's just a piece of cloth symbolizing a nations history.
