Melanie Freeland - Junior

Junior outside hitter, Melanie Freeland, joined Vero's varsity team in her sophomore year. Along with her teammate Jennifer Thomas, Melanie is one of Vero's strongest offensive players. She has been playing volleyball for three years, including club volleyball with IRJVC each spring. Although Melanie loves volleyball, she does not currently plan to apply for a volleyball scholarship, preferring to play on a college club team or intramurals. Melanie plans to attend college somewhere in Florida, and pursue her interest in computer technology. She enjoys her web design classes and working on the high school website. Melanie likes to hang out with her friends, shop, and go to the beach. An excellent student, Melanie is in the National Honor Society and top 10% at Vero.
