Oslo Middle Wildcats vs. Gifford Middle Dolphins

Playing at Vero Beach High School with the Oslo Wildcats as the visitors, the Gifford Dolphins gave it a good shot, but overpowering pitching by Travis King was just too much for them. In a complete game performance, King struck out 10 while walking only 2. The Dolphins collected 3 runs on 4 hits.

For the Dolphins, Kyle MacNeney, Matt Thompson, Jon Mahannah and Harrison Cooney all singled. MacNeney's hit came with the bases loaded in the third inning and resulted in 2 RBI.

The Wildcats scattered 11 hits during 5 innings of play, with multiple hit games by George Yagojinski, Travis King, Zach Sibley and Logan Vordermier. Yagojinski and Sibley each had a double and a single. Ricci Dominquez, Zac Votaw and Chris Damon each added a single.

With a final score of 14-3, the Wildcats have run their record to 5-0-2. They play next on Saturday at Sampson Field in Vero Beach. It's a double-header against Florida Air Academy. Game time is 1:00.
