Local Pilates Studio Hosts Golf Clinic

Tiger does it. Rocco does it. Rich Beem and David Duval do it. And now you can do it too - use Pilates to get off your plateau and strengthen and improve your golf game, not just for now, but forever.

Mike Wright of Mike Wright's Golf Pilates -- the targeted fitness program that has been featured on The Golf Channel with Titleist's Golf Fitness Academy and at the 2008 World Golf Fitness Summit -- will be available for one three-hour Golf Clinic, offered exclusively this November through Pilates of Vero, Vero Beach's leading classical Pilates studio.

Pilates popularity among golfers has exploded since Tiger Woods, Rich Beem, Rocco Mediate and David Duval started extolling its benefits: increased flexibility and range of motion - think superior swing -; more core stability and strength - think more powerful drives; and better balance and improved posture - think solid, confident putting. Mike Wright is a Master Golf Fitness Instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute and the author of "Golf and Pilates for the Pilates Professionals." He has been featured on The Golf Channel with Titleist's Golf Fitness Academy, presenting Mike Wright's GolfPilates System, where he worked with David Phillips (Golf Digest top 100 Teacher) and Dr. Greg Rose, co-founder of the Titleist Performance Institute.
