VB Devil Rays to Hold Second Annual Golf Tourney

Hit the Links on May 3rd with the Vero Beach Devil Rays!

VERO BEACH, Fla. - Spend a morning on the links to help benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Indian River County! The 2008 Vero Beach Devil Rays Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd at Pointe West in Vero Beach. The tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels and will feature a scramble format, raffle, and prizes. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Golfers signing up for the tournament will have the opportunity to golf with a Vero Beach Devil Rays player or coach in their group. The cost is $100 per player and includes: 18 holes of golf with cart, goody bag, contest awards, two tickets to the May 3rd Vero Beach Devil Rays game, and a catered pre-game dinner for two compliments of Sonny's Bar-B-Cue. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Indian River County. Participation is limited to the first 120 golfers, so please register early.

Community outreach is a priority for the Vero Beach Devil Rays and the organization thanks you for partnering with them to make our community a better place to live and work. The Vero Beach Devil Rays are a minor league baseball club owned and operated by the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are a member of the Florida State League (Advance Class A) and play at historic Holman Stadium in Vero Beach, FL.
