Rivalry Night with Thirsty Thursday and Baseball Camp Highlight the Week Ahead!

VERO BEACH, Fla. - The Vero Beach Devil Rays will hold their annual Rivalry Night on Thursday, July 24! On Rivalry Night fans are invited to represent their favorite college or professional team by wearing their colors and logos to the ballpark.

Based on their team allegiance, fans will be paired up for the between-innings promotions based on their favorite teams, and a score will be kept to determine which rival teams earn the most wins throughout the game! Thursday, July 24 is also a Thirsty Thursday, and fans can enjoy $1 beers throughout the game!

The Devil Rays will also have Family Friday on Friday, July 25 with $1 hot dogs, $1 sodas and Knothole Gang Night!

Spots Still Available for Vero Beach Devil Rays Baseball Camp!

Spots are still available for the Vero Beach Devil Rays youth baseball camp Wednesday, July 23 through Friday, July 25 at Holman Stadium in Dodgertown. The three-day camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day and is open to children ages 7-14.

The camp will include instruction on the basic fundamentals of baseball such as, hitting, throwing, catching and sliding by Vero Beach Devil Rays players and coaches. Participants will receive a camp t-shirt, daily lunches and a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the camp. Sponsors for the camp include: Comcast, Subway, Burger King, Beef O'Brady's, Huntington Learning Center, ABC Printing and The Talking Phone Book.

Each camp participant will also receive free admission to all three 7 p.m. Vero Beach Devil Rays games on July 23, 24 and 25, as the team takes on the Lakeland Tigers on the 23rd, and the Daytona Cubs on the 24th and 25th.
