Youth to get fashion tips from WPBF 25 and "Style X" duo Christi Knight

VERO BEACH, FL (April 22, 2008) - Indian River Mall invites youth ages 10 to 18 to participate in the "Summer Style Fashion Camp," featuring fashion and beauty tips from "Twochix Productions" duo Christi Knight and Angie Murphy-Gamand. The weeklong camp will teach youth the importance of self-confidence, in addition to preparing them for a runway fashion show at the end of the program.

"The 'Summer of Style Fashion Camp' is such an inspirational event for youth," said Ursula Gunter, Director of Marketing, Indian River Mall. "We are proud to be a part of a program that helps boost self-confidence and encourages our youth to embrace who they are."

The program was designed to teach youth the fundamentals of style and fashion, while integrating the self-confidence component. Participants will learn how to walk the runway, have a mini photo shoot and a taste of what the world of fashion is all about. After completion of the weeklong camp, participants will exhibit their skills in their very own runway fashion show.

"It is such a great opportunity for us to partner with Indian River Mall to host this event," said Christi Knight. "We are always amazed at how much the youth learn over the period of one week, and how much more confident they seem once they walk that runway."

Christi Knight is a former talent agent with an extensive background in fashion and production, and will serve as host of the runway fashion show. Angie Murphy-Gamand is a former international model turned producer/director with producing/directing credits in television programming, music videos and commercials. Collectively, they are known for the local television program "Style X," "Twochix Productions" and as the digital divas for WPBF 25's "Seen on the Scene."

Summer Style Fashion Camp runs June 16-20, 2008, with the finale runway fashion show on June 20, 2008. The cost of participation is $125 per child.
