As its special holiday presentation, Riverside Children's Theatre presents "Little House Christmas at Plum Creek" on Dec. 27 -30. Performances are at 1:30 and 7 p.m. in the Anne Morton Theatre, 3280 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach.

Based on the Laura Ingalls Wilder book "The Little House at Plum Creek," this humorous and touching tale of the Ingalls' Christmas in Minnesota is a perfect counter to our modern hectic holidays. Just day's before Christmas, Ma, Laura and Mary must keep their spirits up and the house together as they wait for Pa to make his way back from town through one of the worst blizzards on record. The play is a charming holiday story infused with traditional music and a real sentiment for the season.

Directed by Jeremy Baker, the cast is composed of eight local students.
The show is made possible through underwriting from French and Company
