Teens...Need a place to go after school?

Often times, teenagers in Indian River County are bored after school and parents often worry that their son or daughter will get into trouble or be unsafe because of this boredom. Well, the YVC Teen Center is located right by the Freshman Learning Center and Vero Beach High School. Teens can walk here after school and enjoy our many activities and national programs teaching teens about life while having fun. The Teen Center provides entertainment and information for their future. Our average daily attendance is about 10-15 teens from around the area middle schools, the FLC, and VBHS. We would love that number to grow because we have the fun and responsible staff it takes to supervise and direct the teens down the right path. No transportation to anywhere after school to hang out? Well, teens can walk over to the Teen Center with their friends to have a good time. Try it out for a week to see if you like it!! Then fill out an application so we have you in our system to attendance and safety purposes. Also, get involved in volunteering to get service hours for graduation. What better thing to put on your college and scholarship applications than good grades and VOLUNTEER HOURS. Come see us today!!!
