Roger Thomas of Florida Power & Light/IBEW was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors at United Way of St. Lucie County's annual Trustees' Dinner on June 12 th at the Hilton Garden Inn PGA Village. His one year term began immediately following the induction ceremony during the event.

Throughout his years of service to St. Lucie County, Roger has utilized his leadership ability by organizing the Florida Power & Light United Way Campaign as an Employee Campaign Coordinator and a Loaned Executive, serving on United Way allocations panels, and leading the annual fundraising efforts as Campaign Chair. He most recently served as a member of the Campaign Cabinet and the 2007-2008 Vice Chairman of the Board.
