United Way of St. Lucie County is looking for participants for its Loaned Executive program, which trains volunteers to assist local companies in running their workplace giving campaigns.
Each year, businesses and organizations across St. Lucie County select employees to participate in this special community-wide leadership project. The selected individuals are "loaned" to United Way for 14 weeks, assigned five to seven local business accounts, and spend 4 to 8 hours a week helping these companies prepare and run a successful workplace giving campaign.
United Way will be offering orientation/training sessions on September 19th and September 26th that will expand the individual's overall knowledge of United Way and enhance their sales, customer service, teamwork, public speaking, and account management skills. Participating in this program will provide volunteers the opportunity to network with other local businesses and develop leadership and presentation skills while helping raise funds to make a difference in people's lives.
For more information or to enroll in the Loaned Executive program, please contact Judy Cruz, Vice President of Resource Development, at 772-464-5300 or
