Gov. Crist Reappoints Tony Loupe as ELC Chairman

Anthony Loupe has been reappointed as Chairman of the Board for the Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County by Governor Charlie Crist. His term runs through April 30, 2013.

Having joined the Board in August 2001, Mr. Loupe served as Chair since July 2003, including a four year appointment by the governor. Mr. Loupe is Vice President/Indian River County Manager for Seacoast National Bank.

The Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County is a non-profit organization offering child care resource and referral services, the School Readiness (SR) program, the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program and the Father and Child Connection Program. Child Care Resource and Referral Specialists refer more than 5,000 families to child care providers or community services each year. The SR and VPK programs provide high-quality early childhood education in order to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. The Father and Child Connection program offers fathers and male role models an opportunity to take a deeper look at their parenting skills and nurture healthy relationships.
